What's happening in and around Abertridwr? Here's an up to date listing of upcoming events. (Previous events, going all the way back to 2004, can be found here). We've also included details of some Kingdom events that may be of interest.

WEDNESDAY 15th MAY
CHIVALRIC ROUND TABLE |
The second Chivalric Round Table for the year is on Wednesday the 15th May at The Bastion.
THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL SCA EVENT
Formal discussion - everyone participates.
The Evening will be chaired by Sir Kane. Participants will have 5 minutes each to give their answer. Once all have had a say. There will be a summation, limited discussion, break and then on to the next question. I offer this article as a pre-reader:

For those not wishing to participate in the Chivalric Round Table, A&S will be available in the lounge and craft room.
This is a garbed activity, bring a goblet. Bring a plate dinner will be from 6pm.

You are invited to attend a fabulous, four day camping event with all the Fighting, Feasting, Archery, Wars, Rapier, Arts and Sciences plus a fun Tavern night with more good company and fun, all rolled into one packed weekend.

A mixed-period feast where not everything is quite what it looks...where the food is unexpected and the guests decidedly so!
Bearded Ladies and Feminine Lords welcomed but not required :)
There will also be 2 A&S competitions running that evening:
- Illusion Food: Could be anything from a food-sculpture or cake to a savory desert.
- Doesn't Sit Quite Right....: An item of garb or outfit designed someone that is not as it seams or is not usually worn by a person of that gender (Kirtle for a get or Pumpkin Pants for a lady)
