Current Experiments

The following experiments are currently underway or have recently been concluded in Lochac:

• Talhoffer poles - Cornelius, Alfar Gui, Miles, AEdwarde, Stephen, Edmund - limited experimentation, currently not legal without modification - ongoing
• Spear throwers - Rob Moser - ongoing
• Archer's half-gauntlets - Alfar - to be reviewed after Spring war 2006
• Bungee bows - Corin - to be tested and reviewed after Festival 2006 - see reports here
• Hand Gonne - Oskar (Darton) - initial design/materials deemed not robust enough for war field, December 2005. Finally ruled out by a Society Marshal ruling banning weapons of this nature from the warfield, June 2006.
