Australia Day Working Bee / Sewing Day / Pot-Luck Lunch & BBQ Dinner.
Wednesday, 26th January, 2011. 10am.
A " Clean Up" of the Hall and garden first ( trimming the trees, getting up on the roof to clean the gutters again, that sort of fun stuff - See Dimi"tree" )– A little of your time in service to the Barony is all that we ask - the more hands the quicker we finish and we can then move onto our crafting activities!
A Sewing day & evening – bring your latest items to complete!
Your new veil and or headwear – for men and women for March Baronial Competition
If you need assistance with your documentations for the competition please bring it in and discuss with our Laurels and long-term members. Assistance with clothing that you are making for the first time!
The Italian garments started last year - there is still at least 6 people still keen to finish and we are still keen to help you to do so. BYO items to sew or craft and machine etc- remember we do have a sewing machine in the Hall.
A pot luck lunch (bring a plate to feed 6) for those that are there, and
A $4 BBQ dinner, using the lunch left overs as well.
Please let Josseline know if you will be lunching with us and / or dinner so we can make sure we have enough. Also let me know what you are bringing for the potluck lunch please so we don’t double up…
Looking forward to another fun and creative year ahead.
