Tudor Event: A Celebration in Honour of Anne of Cleves, the Forgotten Wife
Come along and celebrate Anne of Cleves, Henry VIII's often forgotten wife. It is said that Hans Holbein the Younger's portrait of Anne was not accurate, but surely it was her gentle, virtuous, and docile qualities that were displayed on the painting, rather than her outward beauty. We therefore invite you to dance and feast with us in celebration of the forgotten wife, and to celebrate her inner beauty. Dress to impress in a Tudor or German style.
