Newcomers’ Day
Bring a friend, a family member or just bring yourself. Enjoy Lunch with friends, sit around and continue your A&S projects. Practice your archery or show off your skills on the field (Rapier or Heavy). Please book early and inform the booking officer of your dietry requirements to help with catering for your needs.
When – Saturday 25th September 2010
Where – River Haven Hall, Wesly St, Lutwyche
Time – Site opens 10am with
- Rapier inspection at 10:30am for tournament at 11am.
- Lunch at 12.30/1.
- Heavy Combat inspection at 2pm for 3pm tourney.
- Archery Range established during the day.
- Feast starts 6/6:30pm finish 10:30/11pm.
Cost - $20 Members, $25 non members & Children half price (Children 0-6 FREE)
Additional prices – Add $5 to cost for bookings
after the cut of time &
add $10 at the door booking (this includes $5 for booking after fee &
$5 gate tax).
Please note that if you book late or arrive at the gate without booking
and you have a dietery issue you may not be catered for – so book
please.

Sunday , 26th September, is an open day where members
are welcome back to the hall for unfinished objects and fighter training
– pick up etc. From
10 to 3 – leftovers and sausages BBQ for those who attend. Please
let us know if you are interested.
Feast Menu
On the Table - Bread, Butter, Honey Mustard camembert cheese and Platter of Fruits & Nuts.
Soup - Green (spinach, almond & nutmeg)
Servings: Hrider smeamete (beef stew), Pork stew with apricots, Barley Lentil & vegetable stew, Hierstte Cicen (Pan Fried chicken), Mushrooms in garlic, Fried Beans, Honey glazed root vegetables.
Afters - Honey saffron tarts, Summer Fruits, Honey Hazelnut crumble & Cream.
