September Baronial A&S Competition. Don't forget your competition entries!
1. Performing Arts: A performance of no more than 5 minutes in any period medium (e.g.: dance, singing, instrumental, acting, storytelling). Documentation should be included for not only the medium you have chosen, but also the piece to be performed.
2. Headgear: NOT a veil by itself. This can be any full headgear, including armoured headgear (e.g. helm). You may include a veil as part of the headgear, but it cannot be the full item. Documentation to be included.
3. Household Linen: Any piece of period household linen. This can be bed linen, towels, curtains, table carpets, table napkins, etc. It can also include potpourri or spice sachets made of linen (these are considered household linen). Documentation should be included not only for the item, but also your execution of that item.
4. Spring Cleaning: A period cleaning recipe. This is primarily a research and documentation exercise. You should be aware of the properites of the ingredients and be able to explain how these work (or not......) to produce the desired effect.
