Description: The Barony of St Florian de la Riviere would like to invite the
Rejoice with Gabriel and Constanzia in their stepping down as our first Baron and Baroness.
The Saturday Tournament:
BE IT KNOWN THAT THE BARONIAL GUARD WILL ONCE AGAIN HOLD THE FIELD AGAINST ALL CHALLENGERS IN A PASSAGE OF ARMS TO PROVE THEIR PROWESS, COURTESY AND CHIVALRY IN HONOUR OF THE BARONESS ST FLORIAN DE LA RIVIERE. THE TENANS WILL ACCEPT CHALLENGES FROM THE VENANS IN ANY DIVERSE WEAPON FORMS SUCH AS MAY BE DESIRED (WITHIN THE CONFINES OF THE SCA COMBAT CONVENTIONS). ALL COMBATANTS ARE INVITED TO PARTAKE OF THE FIGHTING AND TO BRING ANY WEAPONS THAT THEY WOULD LIKE TO SEE USED ON THE FIELD.
DIVERSE ENTERTAINMENT WILL BE OFFERED FOR THE PLEASURE OF THE POPULACE.
Final court of Their Excellencies, Gabriel and Constanzia will be in the afternoon. (Approx 2pm)
Celebrate the Investiture of Giles and Maud as our new Baron and Baroness and enjoy an Elizabethan Feast with us in their honour.
Investiture court will be in the evening.
Sunday Tournament and activities to be advised.
Lunch is provided on Saturday and Sunday.
ANY GENTLES WISHING TO ASSIST SHOULD CONTACT THE STEWARD PARTICULARLY SET UP, ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE DAY AS WELL AS THE EVENING.
